Helen Brumett lives in a fantasy world. She’s old, well, her husband, Abner, sure thinks so. Helen’s insistence that fairies visit with her in the garden must just be a symptom of growing dementia, he reasons. Abner can’t come to grips with it. But what if the fairies in the garden only show themselves to those that open their eyes?
